Built for how New York {{ ex.headWord }} meet.
BoardLogiQ runs every meeting of your {{ ex.body }}, from the first agenda item to approved minutes. Open Meetings Law deadlines, vote thresholds and executive session rules are part of the product, the way New York law writes them.
Three decisions at the center of the product.
The packet is live, not a PDF.
Board members read the agenda rendered from the record, with attachments opened in place. When a document is revised, everyone sees the new version and what changed. Nobody reads last Thursday's copy.
Visibility follows the law.
Every item carries its lifecycle stage, session type and any statutory basis for withholding. Who can see it is worked out from those facts, never set by hand, and the rules fail closed.
The public portal can't leak.
Your portal reads from a separate store that only receives what the clerk publishes. Drafts and executive session material have no path to it. Publishing is deliberate, role-gated and logged.
New York's meeting rules are part of the product.
Deadlines, thresholds and warnings come from a versioned rule library. Each flag names its rule and citation. Nothing stops the clerk from acting: an override is recorded with a written reason, and a report run years from now on this year's meeting uses this year's rules.
{{ l.text }}
One record, from agenda to archive.
Each item, motion, vote and attachment is entered once. The board packet, the live meeting, the minutes and the public portal all read from the same record.
A packet that's ready the night before, even offline.
The iPad experience opens straight to the next meeting. Packets download to the device as soon as they're published, and a sync indicator shows how current they are.
From bid award to signed contract, on one record.
BoardLogiQ is built by BidLogiQ. Awards from a BidLogiQ solicitation arrive on the agenda with the bid record attached. After the vote, the contract is signed from the same record, and each signature records the resolution behind it.
Track every policy from first read to adoption.
Readings go on the agenda straight from the policy. BoardLogiQ checks the time between them against your board's rules, and each adopted version links to the vote that approved it.
Drafts for the clerk, with citations to the record.
Minutes drafted from the live meeting log, plain-language summaries, resolutions and answers to questions about past actions. Each one is a draft the clerk reviews and accepts. Board members and the public only see what the clerk publishes.
Everything a board needs is included.
Minutes, the policy manual and livestream aren't add-ons. Pricing is set for your {{ ex.orgType }}; contact us for a quote.
Security and privacy
One meeting of the {{ ex.body }}, from agenda to archive.
Follow a regular meeting through BoardLogiQ. The examples below are interactive.
Write it as an outline or as the document itself.
Switch between outline and document mode at any time. Templates cover regular, special and organizational meetings, public hearings and consent agendas.
Deadlines counted from the meeting, not from memory.
When you schedule a meeting, BoardLogiQ works out the notice and posting deadlines and keeps them on screen until they're met. Posting is a single, logged action that copies only what is public to your portal.
Run the meeting from one screen.
The clerk works from a control room with the agenda, the current motion and the live log. A presenter view mirrors the current item to the room display and the livestream.
Minutes built from what happened.
Motions, movers, tallies and attendance come straight from the meeting record, so they're right before anyone edits a word. The clerk accepts each section before the minutes go to the board.
Find any vote in seconds. Answer FOIL from the record.
Search every agenda, minute, resolution, policy and attachment, including the archive you bring with you. Press ⌘K from anywhere, or search within a single section.
A public portal with your name on it.
Residents see your seal, your colors and your web address. Agendas, minutes and video are searchable on the open web, and residents can subscribe and watch live from the same place.
AI that drafts for the clerk and cites the record.
BoardLogiQ's AI takes on the writing clerks do after every meeting. It works from your structured record, shows where each statement came from, and nothing it writes is published until the clerk accepts it.
Four rules the AI follows.
Off means off.
AI is switched on by each {{ ex.orgType }}. When it's off, no request is sent to a model at all.
Drafts, not decisions.
Every output is a draft the clerk reviews. Nothing reaches the board or the public until the clerk accepts it.
Sources on every answer.
Answers link to the minutes, votes and policies they rely on. A compliance flag that can't name its rule is never shown.
Only what's needed.
A resolution draft sends only the fields its template needs, never a whole document. Processing stays in the US.
What it does for the {{ ex.clerk }}.
Each capability sits where the work already happens: in the agenda builder, the live meeting, the minutes and search.
Run the whole meeting from one screen.
The clerk sees the agenda, the current motion and the minutes as they're written. Take the roll call below, then carry the meeting through executive session to adjournment.
Every speaker gets the same time, and everyone can see it.
The clerk runs the speaker list and the timer. The speaker's name and a countdown appear on the room display and the livestream, so speakers in the room and online get the same time. Start the timer to try it.
Vote math you can defend
Thresholds count the whole board. Abstentions are recorded as abstentions, and a motion that falls short is recorded as not adopted.
Executive session, by the book
The motion is made in open session with a permitted subject. The public log and the livestream overlay pause until the board returns.
Livestream and room display
The presenter view shows the current item, the motion and a speaker timer to the room and to viewers at home.
Voting from the iPad, if you want it
Each {{ ex.orgType }} decides whether members record votes on their iPads. The clerk calls the roll by default.
Every policy change, tracked from first read to adoption.
Your policy manual lives in BoardLogiQ with the agendas and minutes that change it. Readings go on the agenda straight from the policy, the time between them is checked against your board's rules, and each adopted version links to the vote that approved it.
Every policy in motion, on one list.
See which policies are in draft, which have had a first read and when each one is next on an agenda. Policies your board reviews every year come up on the board's calendar with a reminder before the meeting.
Readings on the agenda in one step
Schedule a first or second read from the policy, and it's added to that meeting's agenda with the redline and clean copy attached.
Intervals checked against your rules
Your board's rule for readings is set up once. If a reading is scheduled too soon, BoardLogiQ warns you and keeps the reason if you go ahead.
History built from the minutes
Each adoption, amendment and annual review links to the meeting, the agenda item and the vote.
The public sees the adopted version
Your portal shows the adopted policy until the board adopts a revision. Drafts under review appear only in the posted agenda packet.
Annual reviews on the calendar
Policies reviewed every year, such as a code of conduct or a procurement policy, come up in Board Year with a reminder before the meeting.
Cross-references for the clerk
With AI turned on, each draft is checked against the rest of the manual, and the clerk sees where two policies describe the same procedure differently.
Your records stay yours, and stay protected.
BoardLogiQ holds executive session material, personnel records and, for school districts, student information. Each organization's records are kept apart from every other's, encrypted with keys dedicated to it, and processed only in US data centers.
Ready for your data privacy review.
We sign your data privacy agreement and supply the Parents' Bill of Rights supplemental information for you to post on your website. Every commitment on this list is written into the agreement you sign.
Protected data means personally identifiable student information and teacher or principal APPR data, as Education Law §2-d and 8 NYCRR Part 121 define it. BoardLogiQ doesn't need protected data to run, and your district decides what goes into it.
How your records are protected.
Kept apart from everyone else
Isolation is enforced in the database on every request. Your web address tells BoardLogiQ which organization you mean; only your sign-in decides what you can see.
Keys that belong to you
Your documents are encrypted with keys dedicated to your organization. Destroying those keys makes every copy unreadable, backups included.
A portal with only public records
Your public portal reads from a separate store that receives only what the clerk publishes. Drafts and executive session material have no path to it.
Executive session access by name
Executive session material is visible only to people granted access by name, never to a role as a whole.
An audit log that can't be rewritten
Every access and change is recorded with who, when and what. Daily digests of the log go to write-once storage for ten years, so its integrity can be proven later.
Strong sign-in
Sign in with Microsoft or Google, or with a passkey that unlocks with a device PIN, fingerprint or security key. A password alone is never accepted, and face recognition is never required.
Access removed at once
Permissions are checked on every request, so removing someone's access takes effect on their next click.
Private notes stay private
Board members' annotations have no administrative view. No one at your organization or at BidLogiQ can read them.
Files checked before they open
Uploaded files are scanned for malware before anyone can open or publish them.
AI and your data
If something goes wrong
Your records, after a contract ends.
Export your complete records at any time, in machine-readable formats, at no charge and without asking us first. If you leave, your export stays available for twelve months.
Read-only, with a full export
Your account becomes read-only, and a complete export, including protected data, is ready to download.
Protected data destroyed
Student and educator data protected under §2-d is destroyed. Later exports contain your board records without it, and we remind you before this date.
Everything else destroyed
Remaining records are deleted along with the keys that protected them, so no copy can be recovered. You receive a certificate of destruction.
Afterward, we keep only a record that your data existed, who authorized its destruction and when, with none of its content. A litigation hold pauses every clock, and you can direct earlier deletion of anything at any time.
Bring your whole record with you.
We import your agendas, minutes and attachments, and rebuild your board's history from them. Your clerk reviews the import before any of it becomes part of your record, and your board keeps meeting as usual until the day you switch.
How the switch works.
We plan it around your meeting calendar, and nothing becomes part of your record until your clerk approves it.
What comes across
How it's handled
Questions clerks ask.
Post on time, record it accurately and find it years later.
BoardLogiQ follows the district clerk's calendar: items from staff, the posting deadline, the meeting itself, the minutes and the FOIL requests that come after.
What changes for the clerk.
Items arrive ready to review
Staff email their items and attachments. Each one becomes a draft agenda item, and nothing is added until you accept it.
Deadlines stay on screen
Notice, posting and minutes deadlines are set when you schedule a meeting, each with its rule and citation, and stay visible until they're met.
Minutes start from the record
Motions, movers, tallies and attendance are captured during the meeting. You review the discussion and accept each section.
FOIL answered from the record
Requests are logged and tracked against their deadlines. Responsive records compile in a few clicks, with executive session material left out.
Policies tracked to adoption
First and second reads go on the agenda from the policy, with the time between them checked against your bylaws. See how →
Search that finds last year's vote
Search agendas, minutes, resolutions, policies and attachments from anywhere with ⌘K, including the archive you brought with you.
Awards, contracts and budget actions, through the board without re-keying.
BoardLogiQ connects the business office to the board. Bid awards arrive on the agenda with their record attached, resolutions are drafted from your district's templates, and contracts go to signature once the vote carries.
What changes for the business office.
Awards arrive with their record
When a BidLogiQ solicitation is awarded, the recommendation, bid tabulation and GML §103 checks come across as an agenda item.
Resolutions from your templates
Resolution text is drafted from the award record into your district's own template, for the clerk to review before posting.
Signatures follow the vote
After a resolution carries, the documents it authorizes move to a signing queue. Each signature records the signer, their authority and the vote behind it.
Thresholds you can rely on
Every motion is measured against a majority of the whole board. Bond resolutions are flagged so the required vote is confirmed before it's recorded.
Consent items with their backup
Treasurer's reports, claims auditor reports and budget transfers go on the consent agenda with their attachments, approved in one motion.
Budget season on the calendar
Budget workshops, adoption, the hearing, the vote and the annual audit appear in Board Year, with reminders for the board and the business office.
Read the packet anywhere, and know it's the current one.
The BoardLogiQ iPad app opens straight to your next meeting. Packets download as soon as they're published, work without a connection, and show you what changed since you last read them.
What changes for board members.
Always the current packet
The packet is the agenda shown live, with attachments opened in place. Revised documents are flagged, and you choose when to update.
Works without a connection
Packets download to your iPad as soon as they're published. Save more meetings for travel and see how much space they use.
Notes that stay yours
Your annotations are private, with no administrative view. When a document is revised, your notes are kept and marked as referring to the earlier version.
Follow along during the meeting
The current item is highlighted, the motion is on screen and its documents are one tap away. If your board allows it, you can record your vote from the iPad.
Sign in one sitting
Everything awaiting your signature is in one queue, each item linked to the vote that authorized it.
Your first year, mapped out
Board Year walks new members through the organizational meeting, goals, the budget and the audit, with a plain explanation of each.
Every meeting of your {{ ex.body }}, handled in one place.
BoardLogiQ knows the difference between a town board, a village board of trustees and a board of fire commissioners. Templates, vote rules and examples follow your type of board.
What changes for the {{ ex.clerk }}.
Templates for your board
Regular, special and organizational meetings and public hearings, with the items your board uses, such as abstracts of audited claims and local laws.
Notice and posting handled
Notice under POL §104, posting under §103(e) and remote-attendance notice under §103-a are set when you schedule the meeting.
Votes counted your board's way
Thresholds follow Town Law §63 or General Construction Law §41, and a village trustee's demand for a roll call is recorded with each name and vote.
Minutes from the meeting log
Motions, movers and tallies are captured as they happen, and the two-week deadline for minutes is tracked from the meeting date.
Policies and annual reviews
Procurement, investment and ethics policies are tracked through their readings, with annual reviews set for the organizational meeting. See how →
FOIL requests on a clock
Requests are logged on arrival, acknowledged within five business days and tracked to a determination. Appeals have their own clock.
Every deadline for your next meeting.
Enter a meeting date and time to see the notice, posting and minutes deadlines that apply under New York's Open Meetings Law. BoardLogiQ tracks these for every meeting you schedule.
Based on the rules BoardLogiQ applies to every meeting. For planning only; this is not legal advice.
We build for one state's law, and build it properly.
The Open Meetings Law, FOIL, General Construction Law §41 and Education Law §2-d are the product's requirements, not a settings page.
Every feature is judged by the hours it gives back.
Enter something once and use it everywhere: the agenda, the packet, the live meeting, the minutes and the portal.
What's public is public, and what isn't stays out.
Visibility is worked out from the law and fails closed. Every vote and publish action is in an audit log that can't be edited.
One company from solicitation to board approval.
BidLogiQ runs sealed bids, RFPs and quotes for public purchasers. BoardLogiQ brings the same care to the board meeting where those awards are approved, so the bid record and the board's action stay connected.
